Summary: Vella was raised from a young age to be a Shadowblade for the Truth of the Underworld and unknowingly to the other Shadowblades; Vella made a deal with the shadows themselves which to the cult was breaking the number one law “Worshipping any deity other than Gethen will result in the Death Penalty”. Vella was later given a mission to assassinate a government official visiting Paradise Stand but the job was never finished and Vella never returned. Vella had secretly for years made her own Assassin’s guild and made the base in Emporia, while on a job from the Shadow Guild her target turned out to be a vampire and this resulted in her nearly becoming a full vampire except the shadows intervened
