Summary: Riki started out as a homeless orphan who would sneak into the Sweet Shoppe late at night to bake. One night he was caught by the owner Henry Betara and rather than be handed off to the he tasted the cake Riki had baked and smiled. He adopted Riki and raised him alongside his daughter Liada. He taught Riki everything he knew about baking and after his passing Riki took over as Chief Baker and skyrocketed the Sweet Shoppe into fame
