When he made a trip to Asamir for work he ended up in Pardise Stand where he was told about a newer tavern that had opened and that it catered to Slayers and Adventurers. He went to The Bounty Board and found what he was missing from his early days as a slayer and searched for the owner. He asked her for a job and showed her his skills as a bartender, Kelsey hired him and set him up in the upstairs Bar right near the fighting ring. After only a week of being there Dao beat the champion of the ring, Kalastriel; the pair began dating only to be married in the 249th year of the 3rd era
