Council of Coin
A group of the eight most influential families in Jathan. Though not an official organization, not much happens in Jathan without their approval. The eight heads of these families meet at The Sanctuary, a lavish mansion with a massive meeting room and debaucherous side rooms, where they discuss the important matters in the city. Though they all act in their own self-interest, the self-interest of the majority is usually in line with the best interest of the City. Though every member is equal on the council and they have no official leader, the words of the most influential member are usually heeded most.
