Clan Thunderkings

House Name: Clan Righreantairneanaich (Thunderkings)   Head of House: Lady Fomdithra Righreantairneanaich (truly her son, Vomrun Righreantairneanaich)   House Motto: Let the thunder roar!   Why are they famous and/or wealthy: Their, at the time, small Clan gained victory in a battle against Iyanus in the early war. The Empire was winning the battle, the chain of command had crumbled, and the dwarven army surrounded. The Thunder Kings patriarch took command of the remaining forces and made a stand upon a hill. The Empire’s army was defeated in a show of dwarven fortitude in a battle lasting 6 hours. It ended when the patriarch crushed the enemy commander with his warhammer in single combat.   The Thunderkings have been Wardens of Jathan since the city was brought into the Daragon Reublic.  The current Matriarch is rumored to have some sort of affliction as she hasn't been seen personally in the city for a decade.
