Mercurian Priest

The Keepers of the Chain is a cult that believes they have to support the Keystone of Mercury in holding the Chained Sun back. Considering that the Solar Invasion has started up again, they very much feel like they've failed.

Most of the Keepers of the Chain are looking for the next Keystone of Mercury, keeping an eye out for any talented young women who have experienced a sudden increase in ability. They also seek out natural disasters. Most of the Keepers want to help her, but some have radicalized and believe they have to cut down any budding Keystones to extend the life and power of Mzia the Martyr.

Not really a profession as much as a calling.

Courtesans

The Courtesans from the House of Muses have been part of elite Venusian society for a very long time. They were employed as entertainment but also as tutors and mentors to nobility and aristocracy. They extended their teachings to the public by starting the School of Pleasure, which is considered to be an important factor to the democratizing of Venus.

As muses they are well educated, and probably better versed in philosophy than most. Courtesans speak with people from all walks of life. The House of Muses is associated with ethical hedonism, the belief that it is their duty to make the world a better and more enjoyable place for everyone.

This is actually a profession. The courtesans are scouted and trained, they are usually very talented, and very attractive, but someone with determination can learn to be both of those things. Especially on Venus where appearance is mutible through Metamorphosis.
