Manufacturing process
Molten metal is poured into a cast that resembles a full coin, after the metal has cooled the large hole is punched using a hydraulic hole puncher, the metal that is broken off from this process is then recycled for the next batch.
History
Before modern currency the tribes that resided where modern Lexoria now stands used wooden rings as a way to even out trades, this was noticed by King Leos as he was designing the currencies for modern Lexoria. Early Mint Rings were more oval in shape as it was more efficient to make with the technology of the time, this changed when the modern coin minting techniques were created in 102AA.
