"I try to avoid big parties or groups of people. I get a little weird around big groups..."Circe is a grasshopper Miinu who is the trumpeter for 'The Chirps', a band of Orthoptera based miinu who play at The Rusty Horn.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Circe appears to be a thin framed grasshopper with beige skin and brown markings. Her blonde hair is tied into a ponytail and her eyes show the same brown stripped pattern as her body. She wears a blouse and long skirt in warm autumn colors and an orange newsboy cap. She also wears a pair of large glasses.
When she is in 'locust mode' her skin turns a more vivid yellow and black color and she lets her hair down. She'll ditch her glasses and dress in more proactive clothing.
Physical quirks
When she is in a large group of people that gets her serotonin and adrenaline up, she'll physically transform into her locust form, which has a view differences from her grasshopper form. When she is in this form her personality is also altered. After a while she will get tired and return to her grasshopper form with what can only be described as 'a hangover but worse'.
Her personality shift is based on real world grasshoppers, where some species will metamorphose into locusts when around a large group of other grasshoppers, and in this form will mate and eat more than usual.

Personal history
Circe was born in a locust colony living in the desert of Glittering Oasis. It was a chaotic group that was all about indulgence and hedonism. However, Circe quickly got burnt out from that lifestyle and would eventually leave her home to start a new life else where, and took a boat to Treasure City. She tried her best to stay alone, where know one would see her wilder side, honing hobbies like reading and playing music, but she grew lonely.
She eventually started performing, an activity that let her be around other people without getting to close. She'd eventually meet her soon-to-be bandmates; Phylis and Sten. She quickly warmed up to the idea of making friends and having a small community. When she did let her other side slip, her friends made sure to take care of her, and accepted her regardless.
Personality Characteristics
Circe is normally a sweet, kind, shy girl. She tends to be a little timid and keeps to herself. She enjoys expressing herself through her music, but is otherwise pretty emotionally repressed. This changes when she's in a social situation with a lot of people in one area, such as a party or a club. The chemicals in her brain causes a temporary metamorphosis into a locust. In this phase, she is much more gregarious and social. She develops a wild party girl personality and often over indulges in food, alcohol and sex. She will eventually change back when she's worn herself out, and will often deal with a massive hangover as consequence.
