Goldie Kitsune

Goldie's domain is the twilight. She knows how to move between light and shadow. Her playful whispers, her invitations, and her fluffy tails often appear out of the twilight, quite often literally out of thin air.

While there exists no official holy book in the typical sense, there exists the NekoOmNomicon. It is a book filled with rituals, stories, and promises of the Great Gold One. The book is not fully a material item, but a magical trap of Goldie herself. She lets her book appear near those she thinks require it and the promises it makes. If the founder takes interest, the book will show them exactly what they want to see and want to read, slowly leading them to try out one of the many rituals defined in the NekoOmNomicon. Most of them will, in one way or another, lead to the warm embrace of Goldie. If the book is not used, it will simply disappear and appear for the next person.   While the exact rituals often differ, depending on Goldie's mood, there are certain ones that many stories tell of.

• Summoning the Great Gold One - By placing down her holy mark and some offerings, a single person or a group is able to summon Goldie to let her fulfill their greatest wishes. Yet, typical for the more playful prankster the goddess is, those who summon her are often pulled into her realm by her golden tails, the appearing bubbles, or are charmed by the Goddess herself to become hers.
• Doorway Summoning - The ritual speaks of a land of plenty, of neverending joy and fulfillment. If done successfully, the summoner is able to materialize a door that leads to Elystria. The moment they pass the door, it disappears, trapping them in Goldie's realm.
• Eternal Youth and Beauty - By offering the goddess items of great importance for yourself on one of her defined magic circles, you are promised to be granted eternal youth and beauty. Those who successfully do this ritual, however, find themselves in the arms of Goldie and will most likely be transformed into one of her shrine maidens.

Goldie has never been one for strict rules or sacred laws. Faith in her is not about obedience but about embracing joy, kindness, and warmth. Those who follow her or even just visit her realm are expected to carry her playful, loving spirit in their hearts. She values gentleness over conflict, expecting her guests to seek kindness before anger, understanding before judgment. Violence, to Goldie, is a last resort. There is always a better way, preferably one involving laughter, teasing, or a well-placed cuddle ambush.   A true devotee of Goldie must also embrace the magic of touch and closeness. When a fox offers you a cuddle, a tail to rest on, or a warm embrace, accept it. To refuse without reason is to deny the very essence of what she stands for. Affection is meant to be shared, not shunned. On the other hand, if you dare to touch the tail of one of Goldie's maidens, daughters or her own without permission, it may be seen as a disrespectful behavior worthy of being punished.

Goldie is a tall, curvy fox woman with golden fur. She has a large, fluffy tail that can unfurl into nine normal-sized tails.

Goldie's most notable features are her golden yellow fur and her tail. Goldie's tail is actually all nine of her kitsune's tail wrapped together into a large fluffy tail that makes many jelous.

Goldie has all abilities of the Koganari in extended form. She is additionally the goddess of twilight.  

Manipulation of Light and Shadow

Goldie is able to twist light and darkness to create various effects. This could be to hide herself or others from sight, blind and stun with light, reveal dark areas, or swallow people in oppressive darkness that can hinder people.  

Magical Bubbles

Like many in Bardor, Goldie is skilled in creating bubbles and is particularly fond of soap bubbles for their ability to reflect light, and thus, falling into her domain. She is skillful in manipulating their size, movement, and opacity. She often uses her bubbles not only for playfully hunting her next future guest or playmate but also as a place to sleep or to spend time with others in. She often let her guests rest in her magical bubbles.  

Soul Bubbles

The dark reflection of the magical bubbles. She is capable of making a glowing ‘fox fire’ bubble that can capture the ‘soul’ of a person, leaving their body to Goldie to manipulate. The captured soul can be used by Goldie however she prefers. Some way become future Shrine Maidens, while others may be trapped forever inside her.  

Charm Bubbles

The Lighter side of the magical bubbles, an opaque pink heart bubble, is formed from Goldie’s lips. If blown as a kiss, it will send a wave of pressure through the body of the person struck. They will feel enraptured in Goldie’s beauty and want to be with her. At the very least, they feel a heavy beating of their heart when they look at Goldie. If blown directly against the person, the feelings are amplified, and if it fully wraps around the person, they are transformed into a fox shrine maiden.  

Latexmancy

Another entry in her godly domain, Goldie is skilled in the manipulation of shiny material, even that which isn’t dark. She regularly makes rubber outfits, balloons, or rubber statues.  

In My Image

Goldie is well-known for her ego. So she regularly likes to ‘gift’ people with various degrees of being similar to her. Transforming them into fox shrine maidens, golden statues of herself.  

The Golden Tails

An expansion on ‘In My Image’ Goldie is able to give one of her kitsune tails. Those with these tails start a process of taking on her personality and powers. Over time or if forced further by Goldie herself, they can become an exact copy of Goldie herself.  

Breach

Goldie is able to breach the fabric of space and teleport across short distances or through existing fissures in reality that she can find. This can allow her to travel between Bardor and Earth and into other interdimensional spaces (things like pocket dimensions such as Rubber Genie realms or even potentially the balloon void). Her senses as a fox and mist-infused person help her find such openings.  

Tail Space

Goldie can seemingly store an oddly large number of things in the fur of her tails, even stuff that would not physically make sense.  

Other Magic

Being a resident of Bardor, Goldie has an understanding of various forms of magic and do other feats not listed above.

Despite a glistening fur coat, Goldie enjoys to wear latex outfits. These outfits are usually a leotard with some paterning or straps that wrap around her body, as well as long leggings and gloves.

Age of The Gods

Goldie Kitsune was of no one of note prior to the Age of Gods, a simple woman of elven descent who traveled into the pink mists that covered Bardor. She emerged like many other Gods changed and powerful. Goldie’s changes were most notable that she was now a fox woman with a coat of golden fur. Like many other Gods Goldie used her new abilities to guide people and found worshipers. Goldie reveled in her worship and kindly rewarded those who praised her. She was well loved as the Goddess of Dawn. Of her followers she’d grant some powers, becoming a race of foxes known for Soul Magic, this race being the Kinari.    

War of the Gods

Goldie’s position in the world shifted during The War of the Gods. Goldie took more to war than several other Gods, She was appalled by Lia’s assault on other Gods. Goldie was one of the Gods who chose to fight back, keeping up the fight even when other Gods would flee and hide themselves and their worshippers. With the Fierceness of Goldie’s resistance and retributions against Lia and her worshipers, saw a new side to her dominion, which was once dawn now had its dark side. She was now seen as a mix of light and darkness, The Goddess of Twilight.   Lia was a formidable foe, The war carried on and Goldie and the other gods couldn't keep up with fighting back. Goldie and others took to fortifying their lands and waiting for an opportunity. The Day would come that one of Lia’s greatest cities, Atlantis, was struck by disaster. Seeing an Opportunity like no other Goldie gathered what allies she could and assaulted Lia. Goldie herself confronted the Goddess of Darkness that day. Goldie never has spoken of what happened, but what is known is Lia hasn’t been seen since and Goldie had herself disappeared for a while. Due to this disappearance the Kinari would separate from Goldie’s service and go to find their own nation and smaller settlements.  

Earthly Holiday

Goldie’s disappearance was explained. Tales on Earth would spread of foxes and kitsune that would bring misfortune and fortune to humans on what seemed like floating whims, many tales Goldie claims responsibility for. She enjoyed what she called a deserved vacation as she watched over the spread of the Atlanteans. Watching to see if they’d continue their gods legacy and all while experimenting with her own powers. Eventually, Goldie would learn to be able to leap between the gaps and back to Bardor. Reuniting with her supporters and allies. Though not explaining where she had been, or again what transpired with Lia. She Simply would state that she doesn’t recall, but feels things are good for the time being. Goldie took a bit more relaxed role as the Goddess of Twilight. Almost as if the ‘Twilight’ was still just the dawn with few glimpses of darkness here and there. She’d regularly disappear, to places unknown or to visit Earth to cause mischief among humans.  

Current Day

In a recent visit to Earth, she sensed more of Bardor’s influence on the world. She traveled about finding a strange place in the world far from where she had not been before. She found a portal to Sylvia’s domain, and while some of Bardor’s citizens seemed present, there were many more non-humans that could not be explained by Bardor. Curiosity took hold and Goldie decided to investigate this place calling itself Slimea.

Goldie typically identifies as female but her ability to shape shift has lead to the occasional experiment.

Goldie believes in the concept of love and her love knows very few bounds.

Confronted Lia and lived.

When asked, "what happened to Lia?" Goldie will just shrug.

Goldie is surprisingly intelligent and tactical, a fact that is often hidden beneath a rather bubbly and carefree personality.

Despite a playful ego, Goldie prefers to spread love and care to anyone she encounters unless given reason not to. She expects the same of others, and those who bring harm to other find themselves as victims of her tricks.

Don't hug the tail without permission.

Goldie is motivated by having fun and the occasional stroking of her own ego.

Goldie has a rather big family if counting in her Shrine Maidens as well as all her Koganari daughters and granddaughters.

  Goldie is the very embodiment of playfulness, charm, and carefree joy. Every movement, every word, every mischievous glimmer in her golden eyes exudes an irresistible warmth, drawing others into her embrace. Sometimes quite literally.   She is bubbly and flirtatious, never hesitating to tease, cuddle, or charm those who catch her interest. To Goldie, personal space is a foreign concept. Why keep your distance when you can hug, nuzzle, or wrap someone in your tails instead? A meeting with her is a golden opportunity, but only for those who are willing to play along. She adores guests, but she has little patience for those who act violently or disrespect others.   A natural prankster, she delights in flustering mortals and deities alike, using her magic, words, or even sudden affectionate gestures to catch them off guard. Whether it’s a playful tail flick, a sudden embrace, or a whispered tease, she always keeps her surroundings lively and unpredictable. Despite her teasing and tricks, there is never malice in her actions, only a boundless love for fun, warmth, and connection. Those who accept her playfulness will find themselves in a world of blissful comfort, wrapped in the divine, golden glow of her endless affection.
