Prince-Bishop

Originally, Prince-Bishop was a noble title found on Regnitz , which denoted a person whom was part of the ruling family of one of the planet's great knight houses and which made them a member of Regnitzian royalty. This would give them immense power, below only the High Monarch (Hochkoenig) of Regnitiz and the house Lords, typically titled as Prince- Bishop Regent or Prince-Archbishop.   The significance of this title changed when Wilhelm Kitzmann-Dassler returned with his crusade forces after the Great Rift had opened and found a world devoid of its population. Refusing the title of Hochkoenig until he was certain that his father was indeed dead, as the highest ranking knight, he kept his title and the consensus of the remaining knights granted him the powers of High Monarch, house lord and governorship of Regnitz.
