The Woodland Badge is a symbol of loyalty to the Woodland Armory, a Near Dreaming site where intelligent animal-like "Denizens" defend their home against various threats. The badge was awarded to a heroic band of "Vagabonds" who arrived at the Armory unannounced but lent their talents to protecting it and its Denizens from the probing assault of a foreign force called the Marquisate.

The badge is carved out of a sturdy substance called temperwood. It is painted with bronze and green, depicting a curved, leafy branch. The badge's shape resembles that of a heater shield with the top edge shaped like a battlement.

The Woodland Badge is a 1-pt. Treasure which can be invoked to use the Primal Cantrip: Willow Whisper. This Cantrip activation can only permit speaking with animals or animal-like creatures (including Pooka in their animal guise). Pooka retaining any ancient Arcadian memories (Remembrance 1 or more) instinctively sense that the wearer of the Woodland Badge is someone with whom they might communicate (but not necessarily someone whom they must trust).
