Haflings/ Dwarves

One of the shortest races in Sirona they are also one of the rarest to be seen by humans, they mostly live in the Allowin heights where many non human races have taken refuge. In the heights they inhabit underground towns and villages that are all linked into the goblins underground empire. There are 2 types of Halflings, the ones that were forced out of the lands that are now ruled by humans, these ones are skinnier and more agile and originally come from the plains. Then there are the original inhabitants of the heights, the halflings that mostly like underground and are stockier and stronger than their cousins. If a human sees a rare halfling they will probably refer to it as a groundling, which is a catch all term for many of the non humans that live underground.
