Wayfarers' Union
The Wayfarers' Union is a guild of arcane workers who specialize in travel services. This includes traditional spell-casters, artificers who build magic-powered vehicles and roads, and civilian porters and infrastructure workers.

In addition to the benefits of guided service, decreasing the risk of off-target travels and injury, wayfarers can act as personalized couriers for unusually large or dangerous goods. Teleportation with the union offers 100 pounds for the maximum weight of any object brought along through the spell.
The union operates the only airships in Sirasea, the Zephyr I and II. The ships travel a circuit between all the continents, as well as a manmade port near the Lapis Sea north of Sirinthil (to the annoyance of sea elves). It is no faster than an equivalent sea voyage, but considerably safer and more comfortable. The rich and powerful (or those seeking to be) take a summer-long pleasure cruise aboard the Zephyr, stopping at every port. The engine and mechanism that allows the Zephyrs to fly is a closely guarded secret; nations and individuals regularly attempt espionage to acquire the technology for themselves. All attempts have failed to date, and most conspirators end up having a deeply unpleasant "meeting" with the Broken Wands.
