Celizen
Origin
Celizen was once an elf necromancer, so the legend says. So obsessed with becoming a lich, Celizen studied across their 500-year lifespan perfecting the process, and on the night of the ritual, used the eye of another god to ensure the magical potency required. After centuries of work, they finally succeed but did not become a lich, instead infusing the power of the deity into their very soul, rising to the divine ranks as a profane, hated being.Places of Worship
Celizen's followers are outlawed in nearly every part of the world, and as a result, can construct no shrines or churches where they may be found. Instead, they ferret away to secret meetings in abandoned or unsavory places. Oftentimes, this means using sewer systems, villages destroyed by supernatural events, or in rich members' secluded estates.Followers
The mindset of Celizen followers is unfathomable to most, as many think you must require a rotten soul to offer yourself to a god so bent on death and suffering. This, however, is not totally true as Celizen has gained many followers for the promise of returning dead loved ones to life. Once the terrifying ritual is complete, many are too deep into their faith to acknowledge the twisted things they have summoned, acknowledging them only as loved ones that have finally returned to them.
