Belona
Origin
The product of an accident, Belona sprang from a wicker and clay pot filled with forgotten cattle grain left to soak and heat in the summer rains and sun. Unaware of her "creator", but innately understanding the nature of her creation, she went to teach the method to those with the means, and upon discovering the dwarves affinity for forges and metal, worked with them to create the first distillery. To remember her time with the dwarves, and the joy her drink had brought countless people across borders and languages, Belona took the appearance of a dwarf, as she is now often depicted.
Places of Worship
Belona may have shrines around the old world at the ends of bars or near tavern entrances, or outside of distilleries, though the only full structure temple that exists of her is within Coalrite.
Followers
Her clerics and paladins are often said to be "drunks with a job" as she rarely blesses anyone with vast amounts of power, typically only providing niche spells that may prove useful in growing grains and refining them into her signature drink, but when she does grant more extravagant powers it is often to dwarves with long histories of perfecting her craft.
