The Rylesh are a race of elves from the forests of
Rylesh who were twisted by the dark magics of the Vesh is the last great war into their current form. Almost all Rylesh are vegetarian and have an instinctive aversion to eating meat. Most tend to spend their lives attempting to pursue some form of art or craft within their forests trying to regain the peaceful nature they once embodied. They try to avoid other species and outsiders whenever possible to the point of almost being xenophobic and are even a bit distrustful of their own people who spend much time with outsiders. The Rylesh typically follow the
Guardians of the Divine Spark.
All Rylesh hold a great almost overwhelming hatred for the Vesh for their betrayal of their alliance and friendship at the beginning of the last great war. The Vesh smuggled a number of magical artifacts into
Rylesh that when activated twisted and mutated the the Rylesh. Most of the Rylesh were transformed into monstrous abominations enslaved to the will of the Vesh and their mad god. Those who were able to resist the transformation had their form twisted into a mockery of their former beauty and their once peaceful nature turned to violence and aggression.
