There are several levels of Ascendant that Qual can obtain: A Qual Ascendant is the basic level the vast majority of Qual obtain this is normally the result of a typical life with no specialized training A Qual Ascendant Superior is an Ascendant that is either naturally psychically talented or has received training to become a powerful psychic, Qual Ascendant Superiors are incredibly powerful psychics and are rare A Qual Ascendant Supreme or a Matriarch/Patriarch is the peak example of Qual Psychic ability there are only 15 known Ascendant Supremes. These Qual are feared and revered among the Qual.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Qual Ascendants release a psychic frequency that all nearby Qual will subconsciously rest themselves on, gaining a fraction of the Ascendants strength. The Ascendants frequency can backfire however, when an Ascendant dies all other Qual will experience a portion of that feeling and fall unconscious for a few moments.
