Oracle

The Oracle is the spiritual guide of the cult of the Silver Lady. Through the consumption of sacred decoctions of moon-tree fruits she would be able to converse with the deity herself. This role gives her a special place in the society of the valley. A large majority of the population almost blindly follows the commandments she gives. Few people dare to oppose her.   The title is passed on at the death of the latter during the Ceremony of Awakening during which the Moon chooses the new Oracle.   In spite of her obligations, the Oracle still takes part in the life of the society as well as in her family life. Contrary to the Emissaries, she has the possibility to have a job parallel to her title.
