Grapple

A grapple is a device that allows a ship to ensnare another object. They can be used for collecting space debris, moving small objects like minor asteroids, and for incapacitating other ships. There are two primay types of grapple.   Cable Grapples fire a physical cable at the target tipped with a magnetic head. A powerful current travels through the cable to the head, generating a strong electromagnetic bond with the object (assuming it is sufficiently conductive).   Force Grapples use An to enclose the target in a force field that prevents it from moving. Force Grapples are much more expensive than Cable Grapples.
