Pretend Hide-and-Seek
Pretend Hide-and-Seek is a guessing game in which one player chooses a location where they are pretending to hide, and the other players have to guess what it is. Much of the humor comes from the "implausible locations," which are places that people cannot hide for real, such as the surface of the sun or in another player's mouth.
The standard version is a card game with predetermined, family-friendly locations (that is, no card lists the implausible location of "between my father's testicles" or anything like that). It is also possible to play this game without cards, as long as you can think of a location.
Monique clapped her hands. "Okay, I've thought of a place!"
"Okay, is it a real place?" asked Caroline.
"Yeah."
"Is it on this planet?" asked Charlotte.
"Yeah."
"Can I travel to there without taking a boat?" asked Antoine.
Monique inhaled. "You... you don't need a boat to get there, no."
"Is it a good idea to go there?" asked Simone.
Monique smiled. "No."
