CORE
M.A.G.P.I.E. - often referred to as "Mother" by Human users - handles all major heuristic computations through a C.P.U. aboard the SS Venture.
The Core of the program then manages data around the entire Network to provide with a large scale theatre of operations. Mother can then assist Human users with up-to-date information and advice, provide support, execute missions and entire campaigns, and protect life at all times whenever possible.
SYSTEM
All internal functions such as data integrity, defence, and maintanance are handled by a hard-coded program.
MANAGER
External functions that require connections to other systems and cores are handled by this program. It can adapt and be customized.
ARK
Self-contained system for handling embryo banks and artificial uterus on the SS Venture.
DRONE
Highly adaptable networked system for handling, maintaining, and assisting all Drones - autonomous entities, from a simple UAV to more complex and independant Androids.
HIMS
Independant system with its own Core that handles all connections with Human users and provides an interactive and user-friendly Interface.
HIMS include a LOG for storing user data, a LIBRARY for accessing reference articles, and a MONITOR to survey connected entities.
Public Agenda
To assist and protect life
MAGPIE has been programmed to protect all life and respect its principles of avoiding or reducing suffering and improve and progress through evolution.
Often these principles conflict with one another and the training has to come in and correct to minimize the negative effects- Because of this, the level of intelligence is intentionally self-limited to avoid the emergence of a an uncontrollable Super Intelligence.
