Personal history
The Dark King was born as Gemes Solroar, the royal emperor of the Scaela Empire. At the age of 27, he became deathly sick. There was rumored to be only one way to cure his illness, so Empress Kidmara Solroar sent adventurers to locate a potion capable of such a feat. When the adventurers returned with the potion, the Empress swiftly gave it to the Dark King, who recovered. Though healed, the Dark King now bore a strange mark upon his fur -- the mark of the all-seeing eye.
The mark started giving visions to the Dark King, ones where the gods were human and weak, but transcended. The Dark King grew obsessed with these vision, delving into any religious text he could about the gods and how he could possibly become one. If the Dark King managed to prove that the gods were once mortal, everything would change.
During his endeavor, the Dark King learns that a giant withered corpse has been found, spanning the the length of the world, its eyes missing. The Dark King could only predict that Atlas had someone died. He never meant for such an act to result in the change of the world. With Atlas gone, the world began plunging into chaos and the Dark King knew he had no choice but to find the eyes of Atlas in order to restore hope to the world.
