For ages he was nothing more than an amorphous essence that embodied the natural cycle of life and death in nature. At the moment of the first mortal's birth, something an Manvur began to stir and his essence began to coalesce into the deity we now knew. At the moment of the first mortal's death, this transformation finished and Manvur’s powers emerged and the concept of mortality and the inevitable transition to the afterlife was born.

As civilizations rose and fell, Manvur remained a constant, his presence a reminder of the ephemeral nature of life. He was revered by some and feared by others, but to this day his role in the natural order remained unchallenged.
