Wranfaren Itelnoril
Wranfaren Itelnoril is a renowned Sun Elf writer and scholar, known for two series of published books; 'knowledge of the world', and 'the spirit of adventure'. The first is a popular scientific series in which Wranfaren writes about various topics - from geographical regions, to magic, and from history to natural creatures or local customs - in a clear and concise manner to allow any layman to read and understand the topic. This has caused these works to be mocked in academic circles for lacking the detail and nuance of most scholarly work, and for reflecting too much of the author's subjective viewpoint. The series is, however, easily digestible and relatively popular amongst folk of more modest means or standing with a curious streak, and this is Wranfaren's intent. Much more popular, however, - especially amongst the common folk - is 'the spirit of adventure' series in which Wranfaren has written down the stories of various (groups of) adventurers and their deeds, focusing on the narrative and drama, rather than providing an objective account. These stories are widely read and have helped Wranfaren to become a succesful author.
