Surikha

The port city Surikha, lies at the mouth of the Ibraieb bay and the Surilha estuary in Western Mallarish. It is an important trading port that draws in much of the trade from Western Ussath Riel. It also benefits from it's location as a key location for resupplying ships sailing between Ussath Riel and Kizretiri. The large docks are well guarded and feature trading enclaves used and owned by various nations and trading companies. Due to the importance of the trade for the Al Kasbirah sultanate, the sultana's guard maintain a heavy presence in the port and trading districts. The premier residential district is also heavily patrolled by the city's garrisson in the adjoining military district, but in the rest of the city the guard leaves most to fend for their own, causing much of the city to be a playground for criminal syndicates and other seedy elements. As long as the state interests are not harmed, the guard does not interfere.
