Pillar of Knowledge

The Pillar of Knowledge is a high-ranking member of the Council of Pillars, entrusted with the complete oversight of Haven's education, history, and magical theory. They are responsible for dictating what knowledge is passed on, ensuring that the next generation of Conduits is properly trained and that the city's secrets remain safe.   The Pillar of Knowledge's primary responsibilities include:   Running the Academy: This Pillar oversees the Academy of Pylons, dictating its curriculum and ensuring it effectively instills the Pylon's Burden and a sense of dominance in young Conduits. They are responsible for the education and magical training of all future leaders.   Controlling the Library: They hold the keys to the Labyrinth of Whispers, Haven's magical library. The Pillar of Knowledge controls who is granted access to the city's vast collection of historical and magical texts, ensuring that dangerous or forbidden knowledge is not discovered by the wrong people.   Archiving History: They are responsible for the official history of Haven. This Pillar dictates what events are recorded and remembered, and what secrets are erased or rewritten to maintain the public narrative and the stability of the Circuit.   Magical Research: The Pillar of Knowledge leads all magical research and development. They oversee experiments, ensure all magical advancements are safe, and guarantee that the focus of research remains on maintaining Haven's defenses and internal order.
