White Mines Mining Companies

has several companies currently in operation that split the salt mines of the Shard. The most influential of these are called the Salted Five. Three of these (Singlegloom, Massouthier, and Whitespine) have been around for centuries and are family owned/operated. The remaining two (Addington, and the White Mine Collective) are relatively new having replaced others that fell off the Salted Table.

Salted Five

Singlegloom - One of the oldest companies on White Mines. A family run business. Trade with the Massouthier for which familiy produces the Mayor of the town
Massouthier - One of the oldest companies on White Mines. A family run business. Trade with the Singlegloom for which familiy produces the Mayor of the town
Whitespine - A small company but still influential enough to be considered a member of the Salted. Known for being dependable and not overly ambitious.
Addington - The second youngest member of the Salted. The Addingtons are the fourth family run company and one that was not an original White Mines company. Considered "upstarts" by the other members of the Salted.
White Mines Collective - Another recent addition to the Salted. The White Mines Collective is a combination of the now defunct Lassila company and a number of workers who pooled the money to become another group of backers.
