Sacred Congregation for the Protection of the Faithful

The Sacred Congregation for the Protection of the Faithful is better known as the Inquisition. The Inquisition is a fanatical sect of witch slayers. Thankfully a small sect but they were born out of a belief that it was the irresponsible use of magic (arcane, primal, divine, they don't differentiate) that caused the Shattering. Now they hunt witchborn with a singular devotion. Inquisitors tend to operate individually or with small temporary teams though the odd partnership is not unheard of. Because of the small independent nature of the Inquisitors they tend to operate more on the fringes of Yuna, looking to strike solitary witchborn hard and fast. Their preferred targets are Scholars and Librarians but they will settle for anyone practicing magic that they can take out.

Their preferred tactics are hit and run, ambushes, and catching their targets by surprise. While these tactics may sound cowardly, it is born from a healthy respect for the kind of damage a forewarned witchborn can muster.
