The Neon Blades aren't an Englewood Go-Gang, they're from Northside. But what's a Go-Gang if they can't travel? Tanks Sakamoto leads the 'Blades, and makes common appearances in Englewood. The 'Blades are a major source for BTLs, though they work through local gangs to actually do the selling.   Tanks comes off as a no nonsense guy, but he's lead the Neon Blades for a long time, and was bitter for a long time that he hadn't been moved up into the Yakuza. But, they can see that he has way too strong of a neo anarchist streak to ever fit comfortably into their ranks - better to keep him the biggest fish in his pond. He's come to accept that, but it's caused him to drift away from the Yakuza. Once, he was a loyal soldier. Now, it's just business.   Sometimes, though, you become the last man standing. By the time of Bug City, Aoshi is in jail, Naito is dead, and Shigeda has left the CZ to set up anew in Cal Free State. That leaves Tanks as the default oyabun of the Yakuza in Chicago, what is left of it. He and the Neon Blades are outside of the CZ, and they are certainly capable of making the cross border runs to Cal Free State to keep the supply lines open. But, his sources of power were in the Northside - where the Blades have left a vacuum by leaving Lake View - and in Kenwood and Oakland, which are both within the CZ.    He setting up shop in Deerfield, north of the CZ. With its growing international community, and easy access to I94, its is the new home of the Neon Blades. They're not the kind of gang to set up corners - now their job is cultivating gangs outside of the CZ to be customers for their BTLs, and to be the best possible source of smuggling goods into and out of the CZ.   Tanks has a phone that's on the Trapdoor Subnet.
