The team helps out Dr Crawl, an old friend of Slippery Pete's, who has been getting some heat from Kibo no Hoshi.

Thursday night at The Hub Café and Diner.
  The usual crowd, plus or minus a few. Bass heavy music rocks out from the poorly lit podium, where an almost dressed and almost interested dancer 'entertains' the barflys, the ones that bother to watch anyhow.
  Slippery Pete is heads down talking with an old friend, a local ripperdoc name of Dr Crawl, on account of the things he can tell you will make your skin crawl. Turns out the good doc has been availing himself of some cut price medical supplies sold out the back door of an up and coming corp. Now the heavies from the corp are blackmailing him into trying out a new anaesthetic before it hits the market. Trouble is, he's heard that some other back alley docs trying it are watching their patients drop dead like gangers in a cop raid, and he wants nothing to do with it.
  Pete asks the lads if they can help out, the doc is willing to throw in some free treatment if they can help him get unstuck, they look like the sort that will need it he says with a knowing smile, and puts a couple hundred NuYen on the bar as a down payment.
After some questions, the crew realises that the exec behind the new corp, and the testing program is none other than Jacks old rival, Kibo no Hoshi!
  They eagerly agree to get involved, hoping for the chance of revenge. Bringing along a street kid with a posh voice that was hanging around the bar annoying the dancers, they head down to the doc's office on 7th Ave & W46th St, to await the corpo goons and, with a bit of luck, their nemesis.
  After arriving and scoping the place out, the team cunningly lays in wait for the goons, in plain sight at the end of the alley way the doc's office is in.
  Then, with the arrival of the heavily armed corpo goon squad, headed by a mid level lieutenant, not, unfortunately, no Hoshi, Jack enters into possibly the most ham fisted negotiation of his career. And yet, with the aid of his erstwhile minions, and the native charm that won him his reputation at Renraku, he convinces the so far nameless, and possibly soulless, young executive to give it up for today, and possibly even help them in a daring plan to take down no Hoshi.
  Back at the Hub later that evening, Dr Carl, as he's known to his friends, is pleased that the heat is off for now, but still fears for his very life upon returning to his beloved work.
  The team hopes they can come up with a plan for besting Kibo no Hoshi, and soon…
