Get racial feats, skills and proficiencies. Choose dnd background or modify to fit setting. Get five weapon, armor, tool or vehicle proficiencies that would have come from class - any you want. Get two saves. Get two skill proficiencies. Get two feats or class features to match what you’d get from a class - any you want, plus one bonus one to make a rounded character from the start.
