Hound
Non-Canon Character
Man, I love working with Hound. He always has just the spell to help out with a scenario. Sneak? Invisible and inaudible. Locked door? Creates a temporary hole in the wall. Combat? Here's a sharper mind, go kick ass. And he makes sure to keep up with technology. When you're sneaking in, he's adding some anti-scent deodorant, and he always brings a few spydrones to help watch your six.
The only thing is that I got to turn off my swearing filter. The constant bleeping during complications is far more distracting than the actual swearwords. He does get quite innovative, translating typical Dutch swears to English and mixing them up with the normal lingo. Honestly, I'm keeping notes.

Sometimes, you actually want a glass cannon for a mage. But when you need the mage to go on-site and get in the line of fire, those are a nightmare. Enter Hound. He buffs and fights, with a varied list of spells that let him rise to the occasion. On top of that, he does his homework, prepared for any kind of magical and animal threat.
Do you know how to best shake off a hellhound? The difference between a Garm and an Astral Guardian? Can you tell apart a real dinosaur from a tandoran beast spirit? Or know how to wrangle a T-rex? No? Quitter. No worries, though, that's where Hound comes in. He can make sure you're properly prepared.
The synergy of a support-mage with a team is marvelous. It's not just one person that's better, he serves as a force multiplier. Forget your milk runs, complicated situations is where he shines. And where he cusses up a storm. Still, nobody's perfect! And hey, swear filters exist. Surely you can spare twenty nuyen for one.
