Quiver of Mysteries
A standard looking quiver with an extra slot large enough for one arrow.
Charges: 25 (a small vial at the bottom of the quiver indicates it may be able to be recharged)
As part of an attack action the wearer can place an arrow they are about to fire into the extra slot. Roll a d20 on the chart below, the arrow takes the effect. The effect will be a mystery to the character until it is shot. From then on, the wearer will know if the same arrow is selected. The arrow can be observed before selecting a target. If an arrow is enchanted and not fired or another is enchanted before the first is shot, the quiver loses all of its charges and becomes mundane. Only one arrow can be enchanted per turn.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
When you insert an arrow into the quiver there is a notable click. The arrow seems to transform instantly to a random arrow. As the user pulls the arrow from the quiver, a slight blue magical trail connects it back to the quiver. If the arrow isn't shot at a target, the magical trail will sense this and disarm the quiver, making it mundane.
