The Path of Destruction

The Shiva Drishti is not limited to energy manipulation within living beings. It can disrupt Mahābhūta Transformations, where Magical Energy is converted into elemental forms. For instance, if an opponent conjures fire through magic, the Shiva Drishti can revert the flames to their magical origin, neutralizing the attack. Similarly, if a mage manipulates natural elements, the Shiva Drishti can sever their control by dismantling the magic sustaining it.   The technique also works against magical constructs, artifacts, wards, and seals, reducing them to inert states by dismantling their magical foundation. This makes it a versatile tool for both combat and strategic applications. However, the Shiva Drishti requires the user to maintain visual contact with their target for the effect to take hold, a limitation that demands skill and precision in its use.   At its base level, the Shiva Drishti can only target one entity per eye, with mastery allowing up to five simultaneous targets. This increase is symbolized by the appearance of additional tomoe around the user’s pupil. Advanced practitioners can focus on multiple enemies, magical effects, or constructs, creating overwhelming battlefield control.  

Param Shiva Drishti: The Supreme Vision of Shiva

The Param Shiva Drishti is the ultimate evolution of this technique, transcending the limitations of energy manipulation to reshape reality itself. While the base Shiva Drishti merely separates or fuses existing energies, the Param Shiva Drishti defies the fundamental law of energy conservation, allowing the user to create energy ex nihilo or destroy energy entirely. This shift in capability elevates the user from a combatant to a force capable of cosmic-scale transformation.   In addition to these enhancements, the Param Shiva Drishti removes the five-target limit, enabling the user to affect any number of targets within their field of vision. It also grants the ability to summon a personal Shiva Avatar, a unique manifestation of power that surrounds the user and fights on their behalf. These avatars, shaped by the mage’s soul and personality, can be summoned fully through the Tāṇḍava Natyam, a cosmic dance that invokes their presence. While partial manifestations, or Shiva Mantles, can be called upon quickly, full-body summons demand significant energy and physical stamina.

Magic is born from the fusion of two essential energies: Mana and Natural Energy. Mana, a raw form of energy from the 5th Dimension, is mixed with Natural Energy, a passive energy emitted by all beings. When a mage channels Mana through their Mana Cells, it is refined by blending with Natural Energy, making it usable for beings in the lower dimensions. This refined energy, known simply as Magic, is the core substance from which all magical techniques are crafted. Every mage’s magic is unique, shaped by their individual experiences, bloodline, and Dharma. Over generations, as members of a family or bloodline repeatedly practice magic in harmony with their Dharma, they develop an Inherited Magical Jutsu. The source of these techniques lies in the bloodline itself, creating a cyclical relationship where the bloodline and the Jutsu evolve together. If a bloodline ceases to produce Dharmic Mages, the technique may eventually fade away, while an influx of Dharmic Mages strengthens and refines the inherited power.

Understanding Magic: Fusion and Fission

Magic is created through the fusion of Mana (Yin)—raw, unfiltered energy from the 5th Dimension—and Natural Energy (Yang), an ambient energy emitted by all beings. While Mana is too volatile for lower-dimensional beings to use directly, its fusion with Natural Energy creates Refined Magical Energy (RME), which is stable and usable. The Shiva Drishti exploits this process to exert control over magic at its most fundamental level.   The technique’s primary ability is Magical Energy Fission, the forceful separation of Mana and Natural Energy. This process effectively nullifies magical energy by reverting it to its primal components. When used on a living being, the Shiva Drishti depletes their Magical Energy reserves entirely, forcing their body to restart the fusion process to regenerate more. Conversely, the technique can also perform Magical Energy Fusion, rapidly accelerating energy regeneration for the user or their allies, making it invaluable in combat or crises.

The Path of Destruction was inherited from Emperor Lallo-Arthwydron by Princess Medeam of the House of Ryah. Lady Medeam was an exceptional warrior and like her Lord brother Prince Araredin, Medeam served close to the Emperor as Shogun of the empire's military, commanding the full might and power of the Ryah Army, Navy, and Special Forces. Medeam was good at waging war and conquering her enemies. It was Medeam who expanded the Empire the most and among the Kingdoms and Queendoms established by the children of the Emperor, hers was the largest, serving as the backbone of the entire Empire. Medeam's greatest victory was the conquering of the Jötunnar empire of Terreanica, a rival empire that had long since attempted to destabilize and ruin Ryah. Queen Medeam dismantled the Terreanica Empire and absorbed it into her Queendom, taking Prince Bölblanörtr as her husband, siring the Medeid Gen.   When Queen Medeam died, her eyes were taken and placed inside the head of a slain Gorgon warrior, creating the Cursed Magical Weapon Ergknot. The Ergknot is capable of destroying the SOUL of a victim, removing their ability to do magic forever, if they survive the attack.
