Eunuch
The Eunuch are a sect of Warrior Knights Oathbound by the Blood of their Masters. There is no faith they betray, no order they disobey, no call they do not answer.
Eunuch Naming Considerations
This section is an expansion and altercation of the Comprehensive Character Naming Guide and the Comprehensive Hierarchy of Houses & Harems articles. The rules here are specifically meant to be used when naming an Eunuch.
Eunuch Tribes are accounted for in the person's Nisbah prefixed with Ahl to signify membership or kinship with an ethnic or social group and then the direct Head Family who has authority over them follows this, composing the entirety of their Nisbah. Only the direct family is referenced in the Nisbah and not extended organizations. If a Tribe is only loyal to a specific Stripe of a Gen of a House, only the Stripe will be mentioned. In cases where the Tribe is directly bound to the House, the House Name will act as a pre-fix to the Tribe name. Examples below.
- Example 01
- Tiberius Littleman ibn Tibryn ibn Tibsusen Ahl Osmanette al-Kendrick
- In this example, Sir Tiberius (ism) has earned the title of 'Littleman' (laqab) followed by his father and his father's father (Nasab) and he is of the Osmanette Eunuch Tribe who appear to directly serve a Stripe founded by Sir Kendrick of some Gen of some House. The Gen and House are omitted because the Tribe is not directly loyal to them.
- Example 02
- Alexander Wulfgang-Rex ibn Atlasander Ahl Kes-Dondanite
- In this example, Sir Alexander's Tribe, the Dondanite Tribe, is prefixed with 'Kes', which means 'Kes' refers to a noble house, the House of Kes, and this Tribe is directly loyal to them.
Career
Qualifications
Candidates for the Eunuch Faris are chosen during their adolescent years, a critical developmental stage when their minds and bodies are both malleable and resilient. This period of growth allows for easier adaptation to the rigorous physical, psychological, and metaphysical transformations they will undergo. Unlike many military or elite orders, the Eunuch Faris does not impose stringent prerequisites on physical strength, intellectual aptitude, or prior training. Instead, the selection process prioritizes potential over innate ability, seeking individuals who can endure the demanding processes ahead and emerge as disciplined, capable warriors.
Certain traits, such as a latent affinity for magic, exceptional reflexes, or psychological stability, may be prioritized when creating candidates for specialized roles. However, these traits are secondary considerations compared to the candidate's capacity to withstand the foundational procedures of the Eunuch Faris’ transformation.
Stage I: Soul Castration
The first and most critical step in creating an Eunuch Faris is Soul Castration, a highly specialized and invasive metaphysical procedure. This process involves deliberately capping the candidate's magical potential, effectively limiting their inherent abilities. Seasoned arcane specialists, often utilizing runic technology or advanced magical constructs, operate with extraordinary precision. The degree of Soul Castration is adjustable, allowing for tailored control over the candidate’s eventual power. For instance:
- High-Cap Eunuchs: Retain a greater share of their magical potential, enabling superior combat and strategic capabilities. These warriors are premium assets, commanding the highest market value.
- Low-Cap Eunuchs: These are capped at a lower magical threshold, resulting in simpler but more affordable warriors. While less versatile, they are ideal for bulk applications where elite performance is unnecessary.
Stage II: Psychological Conditioning
Once Soul Castration is complete, candidates undergo an exhaustive program of mental and psychological conditioning designed to prepare them for absolute loyalty and unflinching obedience. This conditioning serves two critical purposes:
- Mental Resilience: The candidates’ minds are fortified to withstand magical manipulation, psychological attacks, and other forms of mental coercion. This ensures their reliability in even the most dire circumstances.
- Loyalty Programming: Through a combination of behavioral imprinting, magical reinforcement, and controlled indoctrination, candidates are instilled with an unwavering allegiance to their future masters.
The balance in this conditioning is delicate:
- Over-Conditioning Risks: Excessive mental restructuring can suppress creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability—qualities essential for high-level combat and strategy.
- Under-Conditioning Risks: Insufficient programming could lead to lapses in loyalty or hesitation in following orders.
Thus, the process is carefully calibrated. Eunuchs intended for basic roles are subjected to more rigid programming, while those destined for elite service retain higher levels of mental flexibility and strategic ingenuity. This differentiation also impacts cost and utility, with higher-functioning Eunuchs commanding greater prices and prestige.
Stage III: Imprinting and the Blood Pact
The final and most defining stage of the transformation is Imprinting, a process that ensures the Eunuch Faris' eternal loyalty to a specific family, clan, or house. This is achieved through the Blood Pact, a binding magical curse that embeds the genetic essence of the Head Family into the very fabric of the Eunuch Faris' being—body, mind, and soul.
- Absolute Loyalty: The curse guarantees unbreakable obedience, ensuring that the Eunuch Faris cannot be turned against their creators under any circumstances.
- Genetic Binding: The curse recognizes the genetic blueprint of the Head Family, ensuring that loyalty is inherited and remains intact across generations.
- Replicability: Once a Blood Pact is established, it can be replicated by the Head Family to create additional Eunuch Faris or bind recruits to the same loyalty structure.
The Imprinting process is a complex ritual involving advanced magical techniques and runic inscriptions. The curse integrates so deeply into the Eunuch's essence that it cannot be removed without destroying their physical and metaphysical integrity.
The creation of a Eunuch Faris is both an art and a science, demanding immense expertise, resources, and investment. The degree of Soul Castration, depth of psychological conditioning, and complexity of the Blood Pact significantly influence both the warrior’s capabilities and their cost.
Payment & Reimbursement
The Eunuch Tribes are not typically compensated through direct payment to individual warriors. Instead, the Head Family allocates a comprehensive financial budget to the Tribe, covering the essential costs of maintaining operations. This budget encompasses:
- Basic Needs: Provisions such as food, clothing, and shelter for all members.
- Operational Expenses: Equipment procurement, weaponry, and maintenance of training facilities.
- Training and Development: Advanced education and conditioning programs to enhance combat readiness.
Tribe Leadership assumes full responsibility for managing these funds, balancing resource distribution between operational effectiveness and the welfare of Tribe members. Although direct payment to individual Eunuchs is uncommon, the Tribe Leadership prioritizes maintaining the Tribe's overall health and readiness. A malnourished or under-equipped force is a liability to the Head Family, making the proper allocation of resources a strategic necessity.
Autonomy of Larger Tribes
Larger, more established Eunuch Tribes often operate from fiefdoms granted by their Head Family. These fiefs—whether planets, star systems, or entire galaxies—provide a degree of economic independence, allowing Tribes to:
- Self-Sustain: Generate revenue through local industries, trade, and resource extraction within their territories.
- Invest in Capabilities: Allocate surplus resources toward acquiring advanced weapons, fleets, and magical technologies.
- Reduce Reliance: Minimize dependency on the Head Family’s allocated budgets, offering the Tribe greater autonomy in managing its affairs.
- Stabilizing Influence: Tribes stationed in fiefdoms act as stabilizing forces in volatile regions, maintaining order and ensuring security.
- Resource Management: Control over local resources provides opportunities for economic growth, benefiting both the Tribe and its Head Family.
- Cultural Continuity: Tribes can build lasting legacies within their fiefdoms, fostering a shared identity and culture that strengthens their internal cohesion and loyalty.
This self-sufficiency ensures the Tribe’s long-term operational stability and reinforces its position as a reliable and formidable force within the Head Family’s hierarchy. Beyond material support, Eunuch Tribes compete for the praise and approval of their Head Family, with high-performing Tribes often rewarded with unique privileges. These rewards include:
- Fiefdoms as Strategic Assets
- Tribes granted control over fiefs enjoy numerous advantages:
- Economic Independence: Control over a fief allows a Tribe to fund its operations autonomously, ensuring consistent access to necessary resources.
- Elevated Social Standing: Leaders of fiefdom-holding Tribes are often recognized as "Lords" and granted seats on the Head Family's Small Council, cementing their influence within the broader sociopolitical framework.
- Permanent Stationing: Tribes with fiefs are tasked with defending key locations, providing stability, and focusing on strategic goals rather than constant redeployment.
- Retirement Opportunities: A fief offers a secure base for retired members to settle and build families, fostering a sense of continuity and belonging within the Tribe.
- Access to Advanced Resources
- Tribes demonstrating exceptional loyalty and effectiveness may receive
- Cutting-edge weapons, magical enhancements, and fleet upgrades.
- Specialized training programs to further develop unique combat and strategic skills.
- Exclusive Assignments and Honors
- High-performing Tribes are often entrusted with prestigious missions or ceremonial roles, enhancing their reputation and the stature of their Head Family.
- Marriage Alliances
- In cases of inter-house alliances, elite Eunuch Tribes may form marriage alliances (between Eunuch Tribes), further strengthening their political and social standing. These unions symbolize mutual trust and strategic integration between families.
Economic and Social Hierarchies
The financial and operational structure of Eunuch Tribes reflects the broader hierarchical nature of the Seven Seals Legendarium. Tribes operate not only as military forces but also as economic and social entities with distinct roles in maintaining the balance of power:
- Tribes as Semi-Autonomous Units: The Head Family’s allocation of budgets and fiefs fosters decentralized yet loyal military assets.
- Symbolism of Control: The presence of well-maintained Eunuch Tribes symbolizes the Head Family's dominance, authority, and ability to wield unwavering power.
- Generational Wealth and Influence: Over time, fiefdoms and privileges allow Tribes to establish dynastic legacies, embedding them deeper into the fabric of their Head Family’s empire.
Perception
Social Status
The social status of Eunuch Faris is deeply variable across the cosmos, shaped by the cultural, religious, and societal norms of the regions their Head Families inhabit. Their unique position as bound warriors, simultaneously revered for their loyalty and reduced to tools of servitude, creates a spectrum of perceptions and treatment. These views are neither universal nor static, reflecting the complex interplay of power, tradition, and individual agency.
- Societies Viewing Eunuchs as Objects
- In more hierarchical or utilitarian cultures, Eunuch Faris are often seen as extensions of their Head Family's will—living tools devoid of personal identity.
- Romantic and Social Restrictions: In such societies, Eunuchs are generally discouraged—or outright prohibited—from forming romantic or social bonds with individuals of higher standing. These restrictions reinforce the perception of Eunuchs as assets, prioritizing their utility over personal relationships.
- Dehumanization: While respected for their effectiveness, Eunuchs in these cultures are stripped of individual dignity, often treated with detachment or even disdain by those who view their bound nature as a loss of humanity.
- Societies Emphasizing Equality
- In more egalitarian or inclusive cultures, Eunuch Faris are seen as individuals defined by their actions rather than their servitude. Their loyalty and obedience are admired traits, seen as a noble sacrifice for a greater cause.
- Minimal Social Barriers: In these regions, Eunuchs can engage freely in social, romantic, and political interactions, with few distinctions separating them from other citizens. Their unique status may even elevate their standing, earning them respect as paragons of loyalty and discipline.
- Religious or Philosophical Interpretations
- Some societies incorporate the Eunuch Faris into their spiritual or philosophical frameworks. Their unyielding devotion and disciplined nature can be seen as aligning with divine virtues, elevating their status to near-sacred protectors.
- Conversely, in cultures where free will and autonomy are deeply valued, Eunuchs may be pitied or even scorned for their perceived loss of self-determination.
Operations
Workplace
Eunuch Faris created through the rigorous candidate process are classified as 1st Generation Eunuchs (1GEs). Despite the connotations of their title, Eunuch Faris retain their biological ability to reproduce. This trait is both permitted and actively encouraged by their Head Families, as it enables the formation of successive generations of warriors bound by the Blood Pact Curse. The curse, once integrated into the essence of a 1GE, propagates naturally through their lineage, ensuring that loyalty and obedience remain intact across generations.
- The Blood Pact Curse’s ability to bind future generations creates a perpetual system of servitude. Each child born to a Eunuch Faris inherits the magical and psychological framework that defines their parent’s loyalty, ensuring unwavering fealty to the Head Family.
- This propagation eliminates the need for repeated Soul Castration or conditioning, reducing the costs and complexities of maintaining a loyal warrior force.
- Families and clans that invest in a class of 1GEs pay a substantial upfront cost due to the intricate creation process. However, the ability to produce 2nd Generation Eunuchs (2GEs) internally reduces reliance on the original manufacturers, effectively turning the Eunuchs into a self-sustaining resource.
- This capability transforms the 1GEs from a singular purchase into a long-term investment, with costs diminishing as subsequent generations are born and trained within the Tribe.
Once a class of 1GEs is established, they organize themselves into proto-clans or Tribes, forming the foundational units of Eunuch society. These Tribes are characterized by:
- Distinctive Identities: Each Tribe adopts its own mottos, sigils, and banners, creating a sense of unity and shared purpose among its members.
- Family-Like Structures: Tribes operate as tightly-knit organizations, with members supporting one another in both personal and professional capacities.
- Generational Expansion: Tribes grow organically through the production of 2GEs and successive generations, ensuring a continuous supply of loyal warriors.
For Tribes with exceptional records of service, the Head Family may reward them with control over a fiefdom—a planet, star system, or other territorial asset. Fiefdoms serve as both operational bases and sources of long-term stability for the Tribe.
With access to local resources and industries, fiefdoms enable Tribes to maintain themselves without relying heavily on Head Family budgets. This autonomy allows Tribes to reinvest in their capabilities, acquiring advanced weaponry, fleets, and magical enhancements.
Permanent bases provide stability, allowing Tribes to focus on long-term strategic goals rather than constant redeployment. Fiefdoms also foster generational continuity, serving as home bases where retired members can settle and future generations can be raised.
Provided Services
The Blood Pact Curse is the foundational mechanism binding Eunuch Faris to their Head Family. This powerful enchantment ensures unbreakable loyalty but offers remarkable flexibility in its application:
- Tailored Loyalty Parameters
- The creators of an Eunuch class can fine-tune the curse to dictate the degree of loyalty. For instance:
- Broad Loyalty: Ensures fidelity to anyone with even a trace of the Head Family’s blood, ideal for families with wide-reaching lineages or intermarriage networks.
- Selective Loyalty: Requires a defined level of blood purity for the curse to activate, ensuring loyalty is limited to key members of the Head Family.
- Adaptability to Family Structures
- The curse’s customization allows families to adapt the Eunuch Faris to their specific needs, making it a dynamic tool for managing loyalty across generations and branching family trees.
Challenges of Bloodline Dilution
As Head Families grow and intermix with other families or clans, the bloodline often becomes diluted. This can create complications:
- Recognition Breakdown
- Over generations, the Eunuch Faris’ curse may no longer identify diluted blood as belonging to the original family. This can result in lapses in loyalty or outright refusal to serve certain members.
- Service Gaps
- As loyalty weakens or fragments, families may lose access to the reliable service of their Eunuch Faris, jeopardizing their security and operational stability.
To counter these challenges, specific solutions have been developed:
- Formation of Sub-Tribes
- Families establish Eunuch Tribes aligned with individual branches or segments of the bloodline. These sub-Tribes maintain loyalty to a specific lineage within the broader family, ensuring continued service despite generational dilution.
- Bloodline Maintenance Rituals
- Advanced magical practices or rituals may be employed to "refresh" the Blood Pact Curse, reestablishing the connection between the Eunuchs and diluted family members.

The legal classification of Eunuch Faris varies dramatically across the galaxy, reflecting the diverse ethical, cultural, and legal frameworks of different regions. While Eunuch Faris are generally regarded as a form of indentured servitude rather than outright slavery, their lack of full autonomy grants them a distinct and often contentious legal status.
- Core Legal Framework
- Eunuch Faris are typically bound to their Head Family through the Blood Pact Curse, a magical mechanism that ensures loyalty while limiting their autonomy.
- They are primarily utilized as elite military personnel or high-level security operatives for dignitaries and state officials, making them integral to the power structures of their Head Families.
- Accountability
- In many jurisdictions, the actions of Eunuch Faris are presumed to be direct orders from their Head Family. This presumption often shields the Eunuchs from individual liability, placing responsibility squarely on their masters.
- Unlike conventional soldiers who can be court-martialed for misconduct, Eunuchs’ actions—whether lawful or unlawful—are automatically attributed to the directives of their Head Family. This arrangement reinforces their role as extensions of their masters’ will but creates potential legal gray areas.
Regional Variations
The legality of Eunuch Faris depends heavily on local laws, customs, and perceptions of servitude. These factors influence their treatment, movement, and usage across different galaxies and systems.
- Permissive Regions: Legal Recognition of Indentured Servitude
- In some galaxies, Eunuch Faris are explicitly recognized and regulated as indentured servants.
- Legal frameworks in these regions provide detailed guidelines for the treatment, rights, and obligations of both the Eunuchs and their Head Families, often requiring:
- Fair provision of resources (food, shelter, medical care).
- Limits on the duration or scope of their servitude.
- Oversight by interstellar or local regulatory bodies to prevent abuse.
- Prohibitive Regions: Anti-Slavery Jurisdictions
- In regions where slavery or its perceived equivalents are outlawed, Eunuch Faris are often classified as slaves, making their ownership or creation illegal.
- Laws in these regions may
- Ban the ownership, trade, or transport of Eunuch Faris.
- Impose strict penalties on entities found harboring or utilizing Eunuchs, including asset seizures and legal action against Head Families.
- Restricted Regions: Security Concerns
- Some systems prohibit the presence of Eunuch Faris due to their absolute loyalty, which is viewed as a potential security risk.
- In these regions, the fear is that Eunuchs, acting under the influence of their Head Family, could carry out unapproved or destabilizing actions.
Challenges and Corporate Influence
The legal landscape surrounding Eunuch Faris is further complicated by the practices of the companies responsible for their creation.
- Corporate Lobbying
- Companies that manufacture 1st Generation Eunuchs (1GEs) frequently engage in lobbying efforts to influence the legal status of Eunuch Faris in various jurisdictions. Their goals include:
- Reclassification Efforts: Advocating for Eunuch Faris to be classified as indentured servants rather than slaves to ensure their continued trade and use.
- Decriminalization of Servitude: Pushing for the relaxation of anti-slavery laws to facilitate the production and transport of Eunuchs.
- Ethical and Legal Compliance
- Ethical manufacturers adhere to strict regulations, ensuring that candidates for Eunuch transformation join willingly, often for economic or social reasons. Such compliance minimizes legal risks and maintains its reputation.
- Illicit Practices: Some companies engage in illegal activities, including forced indoctrination or abduction of candidates. When such practices are exposed, severe consequences can follow:
- Head Family Liability: Families purchasing Eunuchs produced through illicit means may face fines, reputational damage, and the confiscation of their Eunuchs.
- Interstellar Legal Action: Governments or regulatory bodies may impose sanctions or even outlaw the presence of Eunuch Faris within their territories.
