Chakravartin
When someone dies, they undergo the voyage through the 56 Dead Worlds, eventually entering reincarnation as a different being in their next life. However, those who can pierce the veil of cycles and past lives become aware of their own meta-existence. These beings who do not chose to ascend to further enlightenment, but decide instead to remain in the cycle with full awareness can hold the title of Chakravartin: Lords of Saṃsāra, Kings of the World, Masters of the Wheel
A Chakravartin is a being who not only has an awareness of their past lives, but also awareness of their future lives as well, capable of drawing on the power, knowledge, and abilities to go forwards and backward. The biggest difference is that when they are born after reincarnating, they retain all their knowledge and memories.
