Temple of the many

A sight to behold, the Temple of the Many is a giant cathedral at the center of Elegy.   Its name describes the temple in itself as many gods are worshipped within The sharing of worshippers is accepted, or tolerated, by those gods as the temple is mainly used for funural rites and to pray for the dead. This does not remove any feeling worshippers of conflicting gods may have against eachother.   The entrance is a massive door, in the stone arch the symbols of dozens of gods are displayed with the goddess at the top. This is the goddess of the cleric of the main party that destroyed the all consuming shadow.   Inside many paths lead to different altars, the greater gods having larger altars and speaking areas and the minor or lesser known gods have smaller altars against the walls of the inside of the cathedral.
