Living Situations

Knights mostly make their homes within the great Fortress of Sunshield. The three tiered fortress is home to around twenty thousand people. Many living within the second or third tier of defenses. Members of the order are broken into ten units or Shields. Each shield is given a section where their living quarters, homes, and training facilities are.   Initiates share space in larger barracks, where an individual has a private room but share eating space and living space otherwise.   Knight-errants are granted shared living space in homes with four to five other knights.   Knights are given more personal space in a shared home with only two other knights.   Knight-scutarri are given individual homes, and this extends to further ranks.
