Time and battle has taken a toll on this half elf. A bookish worn man, in the later years of his life. People who see him would note features most noticeable about him at first is a jagged left ear ripped by a claw. A missing eye covered by a simple eye patch. His left hand replaced by a strange metal plated prosthetic with runes and scrawlings carved into it. A survivor of many battles Ioannes bares a smile still despite these marks. He walks with purpose wherever he goes and walks with speed.   Ioannes was granted the rank of Illutari, and serves as both a powerful magic user and a second to Knight Commander Frostwall. Capable of being a commander if it were not his ability to get distracted in history, stories, and his love of his cats and his one hawk Veritas. For those that talk or who know him. He is a friendly enough soul to chat with. He is a good soul to seek out for those looking for advise or his thoughts on how to proceed. Most importantly he is always willing to listen and let a voice be heard before deciding to finally speak. He is quick to assign reading or to suggest those within his realm of command to read certain texts, axioms, and scrolls to keep their mind as fit as their body. He has stated "Our worst enemy is ignorance and idiocy".   He is a wealth of stories, and experience to those around him. Being a worldly man who in the past ten years spent his time going to the various nations of Variathios to recruit, rescue, or simply locate people who would thrive in or be of assistance to the order. He speaks many languages and Dialects. Knows regional practices, holidays, and cultural do's and don'ts. He is often one to talk on these stories and can be seen as long winded when he does get on a tangent or asked about one of these topics.
