Azara Messari

Azara is a child of the desert that much is to be certain. This dark skinned human still comes baring many of the trappings of her people. Raven black hair, and bright green eyes, and she has a rather petite build. Bright colored clothing with a favoring for rich blues and deep yellow sashes and patterned clothing. She stands a bit out from her compatriots because of this. While she has some leather scaled armor which is equally colorful and designed emblazoned with Eagles and sun iconography, she is often not wearing these unless needed. She has a khopesh at her side, the hilt is gilded with blue stones, and the sword blade itself has been marked and etched with the style to appear as a great eagle talon. What is most curious about her is the long necked lute, it is quite large and cumbersome, and yet she will not travel far without it being slung on her back.   Azara is a young knight, who has risen quickly through the ranks to be given the rank of Knight-Scutarri. a position normally reserved for veterans. This puts her in a position of accepting and mentoring new members of the order. She is a boisterous woman filled with energy and movement . Not able to sit in one place long, Azara prefers to move and talk. She encourages those around her to try to push their normal boundaries of ability, and seems to never be without a smile on her face. Though this friendly and very energetic demeanor would make some see her as naive. However she has proved her mettle with that decorated Khopesh she carries. Swift and agile, and knowledgeable of the blade, she has even bested some of the veterans of the Order.   Azara has a near indomitable spirit when it comes to accomplishing her goals. While the elder members of the order oft know its history far more then her, this has not stopped her from trying to catch up. She has sought to bring their history out of the books and into song, dance, and poem. Her energy has been contagious and the local populace of Sunshield have begun to idolize her and her songs have become household in the peoples hearts and minds. Many of her tunes and songs can be heard humming, or whistled by the most simple of workers.
