The Weeping Queen vs The Librarian
The Weeping Queen, Goddess of Trees, the Queen of the Dria, Kulua has been at war with The Librarian, Goddess of Light and Goddess of Beauty, Hinode for decades. The conflict between the two of them is beyond the understanding of mortal and non mortal men. It is also beyond the understanding of the two parties involved.
Kulua is a dryad and a goddess who has lived for thousands of years, she has been Queen of the Dria since her tree sprouted and her spirit formed itself into the material world. Her willow tree that drapes over an entire island with its pink flowers and dusky purple bark embedded with an array of gems is known wide and far in ancient texts as a sight to behold. Her tree itself is hollow and the roots go so far into the ground even those from the Sunblight Warrens would not venture so deep. Inside Kulua's hollowed tree is the Library of the Gods. Only gods and a select few mortals are allowed to enter the tree and even then not all gods have access to every part of the tree since there is information so sensitive not even gods should know.
Hinode is The Librarian of the Library of the Gods and looks after the books that arrive in the library inside of Kulua's tree. The source of their conflict is that Hinode wishes to build a tree house on Kulua's branches, but Kulua repeatedly denies her efforts and attempts to build the tree house since she had a dislike for hats and to her tree, the tree house is a hat. On occasion Hinode manages to get rather far in the construction of her tree house while Kulua is asleep only for her efforts to be thwarted once Kulua wakes up.
