Sirisi Castes
The land of the Sirisi is a barren country known as Fiyuki. The Sirisi themselves are serpentine humanoids. Some Sirisi could look just like humans but with a couple scales here and there or have slit pupils, or possibly even just have sharp teeth and be venomous but otherwise looking no different than a human. On the other spectrum of Sirisi, they can be fully serpentine with a long tail instead of legs, covered in scales, and even have a cobra's hood to go with their long, retractable fangs and forked tongue.
The Sirisi people themselves pride themselves on how much they resemble a serpent since it was the world serpents which brought the world to life and they believe themselves to be the true children of the makers of their world above all else. This knowledge has since faded to time but the arrogance and narcissism has only grown. The pride of being serpent-like transcended to the point across caste system was put in place.
Those who were fully serpentine or could directly turn into serpents were in the highest caste, Asa. This caste was treated like royalty and was praised as the closest to their ancestors. Many of this caste expect those of lower castes to worship the ground they walk on to the point if someone of a lower caste brushes against them, even if accidentally, it is grounds for immediate execution.
The middle caste of the Sirisi mainly consists of lamia, those which human-like upper bodies and the lower body of a serpent tail or someone with legs who is fully covered in scales with slit pupils and fangs. This caste is called Zaba. Those in middle class are treated well and are often high class servants of the highest caste. They are well respected and typically hold business roles such as being a merchant, a sailing captain, a smithy owner, a jeweler, etcetera.
The lowest caste of the Sirisi is the Bada. Bada are Sirisi that are barely different from a human in their features. They may have fangs, or slit pupils, and possibly some scales but usually not all at once. The people classified as Bada are used as low tier servants and typically are only allowed to do jobs like cooking, house keeping, or being a nanny. They take care of the busy work and upkeep of their society.
There is actually a caste even lower than Bada, and it is called Daza. This caste is literally everything that is not a Sirisi, which the only exception beings the draconids. Draconids also have a caste system, but their system is simply to classify how draconic they are and it does affect them physically. The highest caste of a draconid is a Zernox, which can be simply described as a dragon that walks on two legs. Zernox are placed in the caste Asa and are treated as such. The middle caste of draconids is called Ferak. Ferak are usually larger in size than your average human, sometimes reaching up to eight feet tall, and they typically have scales, wings, claws, slit pupils, and sharp teeth. The Ferak are placed in Zaba. The lowest caste of draconid is the Kirnis. The Kirnis are placed in the Bada caste and they are essentially humans with some draconic features such as a tail, horns, claws, scales, slit pupils, or sharp teeth. There may be a combination of these features but the main difference is Kirnis don't have wings.
