Order of the Sunkeepers Outposting

The Order of the Sunkeepers and its Sun Temples have three branches: Dawnlight Healer, Sunbright Knights, and Dusknight Alchemists. The Dawnlight Healers are often stationed at temples throughout the known world, and some unknown parts, and they tend to the weak, sick, and injured. The Dawnlight Healers do not charge for their services and will tend to anyone, no matter the severity, their standing, or their background. The Sun Temples are considered neutral zones by all and as such they treat commoners, nobles, criminals, and refugees alike. The patients have no need to worry about repercussions while they are in a Sun Temple since if any does try to start a fight, the Sunbright Knight that is assigned to each Dawnlight Healer will quell any squabbles swiftly and effectively.

There are also Dawnlight Healers that travel with their Sunbright Knight across the world and treat those as they pass through the villages that may not be close to a Sun Temple so they are unable to receive normal treatment. In the case of a Dawnlight Healer is unable to cure or heal a patient, they sometimes choose to escort them back to a Sun Temple or to the main Temple where their god and other branches reside. These cases tend to be poisonings, curses, hexes and the like which cannot be fixed by healing magic or stitching.

At the main Sun Temple is where the Dusknight Alchemists do their research and where the extensive library of medical knowledge is kept. It is a place that is like a dream to any who wish to heal be it by magic or by hand. Any that show interest in learning are always welcome as long as they do not deface or steal any books or items from the Temple. Those who desire to stay and learn are given room and board with clothes and meals while being mentored by their seniors.

The Sun Temples also gives tests and certificates to prove proficiency at certain methods of healing or potion making. These certificates are highly regarded across the world as a benchmark of knowledge so many come to take the tests to attest to their abilities.
