A skilled stitcher is able to reform limbs from other organic material, removed malignant tumors and ulcers without cutting into the body, and can adjust a person’s fundamental bodily nature on the smallest level, such as making a person naturally form antidotes in their bodies for specific poisons or changing a person’s bones or cartilage to work more efficiently and no longer hurt. However, one wrong move or calculation during stitching can result in dismemberment or even death. Both stitching and healing with light magic have their uses and a Dawnlight Healer is required to be an expert at both. As Dawnlight Healers are trained to be benevolent and always help those in need, many try to get on the good side of Dawnlight Healers, which leads to the extensive efforts of many nobles to treat the Dawnlight Healers as best as possible to gain favor in case they need it. Of course there are those that are not corrupt and treat the Dawnlight Healers well simply as a blanket act of gratitude to the fact that a true Dawnlight Healer will heal anyone and expect nothing in return, which is why Dawnlight Healers can often be seen in the slums of cities, where many wouldn’t dare to venture, but even the criminals will bow their heads in thanks to these healers and leave them be. That also may be because of the Sunbright Knight that Dawnlight Healers usually travel with glaring at any unsavory people, but we shall leave it to mutual respect.
