The creation of the objects

With the magic unruly, the elders sought to control it creating sets of objects

In the beginning of the old world magic was unruly.   The elders decided that they would find a way to control it so they sought to gather all of the magic and focus it in one single object. When he came of age and came into his powers he proved out of control. They tried again, three female objects. Through the years they would have many names, used in many religions. But the original three, one was for creating life, one was for protection, and one was for all knowledge, past, present, and future. With these objects they installed a reset button if you will. All three girls would commit suicide together when the new world was ready to be created. It took so many thousands of years, knowledge never would, and they almost always killed her shortly after surviving her sisters death.   They didn't stop with three, they made more sets using what they deemed to be magic numbers. They had 5 that were elementals, 7 that were more scholars, 9 that were more of crafters of various mediums and so on.   All the while arguing over how to allow the creation of the new world. Where did the previous elders mess up, their world so imperfect.   Every generation, a new set of all the objects would be born. So that they could eventually figure out what went wrong with the creation of the current world.   Finally Tome, saw the creation and history of the new world, and it wasn't going to be the same, they actually figured it out, how to make a balance, the goal they had been trying for so long.   And upon the hour when she connected with her sisters, she finally did what all her predecessors refused to do before her, and let herself die.
