The three were suppose to die

The elders were ready, they knew what they had to do.  Tome was but a child, she could not have read the book yet, she didn't know anything.  They did, they were the elders.   The three objects would die upon the woman being ready to give birth taking all life with them.  Destroying everything.    This, this was right, this was how it had to work.    The female went into labor, and the three world builders were born, one for good, one for evil, and one to be a balance.     But the world was not destroyed, everybody was alive, what happened?   They raced to check on the three objects.  Life and shield were dead, but they found Tome in the field of flowers crying.  One of the elders was there coddling her.   They moved to kill the object and when the elder tried to stop him, they killed him first.
