Sen is an incredibly large celestial body with an artificial sun. Contrary to the heliocentric theory, Sens sun orbits it using a complex gravitational mechanism at the planets North Pole. It has a variety of climates and biomes including deserts, forests, plains, jungles, archipelagos, mountains and oceans. The sun has a somewhat red appearance, thus the name, Crimson Star. To power the star, a group of energies called Sources are needed to rejuvenate the suns power. The artificial Star and mechanism were created by an ancient civilization to keep other kingdoms from being created as without the sun, there are no plants which leads to no food for the potential enemy kingdoms. The mechanism was taken by an alliance of the current nations in the story. To keep the other nations from taking the light for themselves and causing “Light Famine”, they divided the Sources among themselves in a grand treaty.
