Valloix Prime
The crown jewel of the Valloix system, it sits as a verdant feudal knight world and seat of the systems governor. The planet is one of the most hospitable in the system and maintained by its dedicated ruling elite, the Knight House Bertrand.
Geography
Valloix is a roughly terran sized planet with most of its surface area dominated by large swathes of gently rolling hills covered in forests, broken up by few mountain ranges due to the excessive amount of smaller, less active, tectonic plates. These plates seem to get more active at the poles however, causing the artic regions to also be sites of increased volcanic and seismic activity.
While the oceans of Valloix cover 55% of the total surface area, they remain largely near the equatorial belt and are relatively shallower than other worlds. This has given to the global effect of the world being incredibly humid, causing rain and snowfall to be exceedingly high.
Ecosystem
Across Valloix, the biomes largely benefit from excessive moisture and rainfall and thus much of the planet is covered in various types of tropical and temperate rainforests, marshes, moorlands, and hilly swamps. Fauna and flora as a result have thrived across the planet and evolved to take full advantage of the biorich environments with herbivorousmega fauna that feeds on the abundant plant life.
