Demographics

The population is made up of 22 nobles, 5 officers, 4 clergy, 27 freeholders, 419 citizens, and 2 hirelings.   There are two noble houses in this town.  The main house has 13 members, plus an additional 6  relatives.  They are served by 4 servants and 3 guards.  The other house has a total of 9 members.

Government

The main noble family is headed by Kharmion Episkios of the Episkios family.   There is a bouleuterion, town council building, were the government of the town happens.

Defences

This town has a reeve, a constable, and 3 law enforement officers.  The town also supports a watchtower 15 miles away.

Industry & Trade

This is largely a farming town, which also supports two millers.  However, the town proper also houses the following freeholders: an apothecary, a butcher, a chandler, 2 charcoalers, 3 cobblers, 2 furries, a jeweler, a mason, a metalsmith, an ostler, a physician, a potter, a salter, a tailor, a tanner, a tavern, a teamster, a timberwright, a tinker, a weaver, and a yeoman.  The freeholders live in the same building as their shop except for the butcher, metalsmith, millers, ostler, salter, tanner, and timberwright.

Infrastructure

There is a propylon, processional gateway, into the town.  The agora, public square, is surrounded by stoa, storied colonnade.

Tourism

The town hosts an annual buffalo riding event.  Every spring several wild buffalo are rounded up and the townspeople bet on how long the competitors will ride.

  The buildings are most often built of stone.  The noble, clerical, and municiple buildings are built on higher ground and feature columns and statues.   The construction of many houses employed walls of sun-dried clay bricks or wooden framework filled with fibrous material such as straw covered with clay or plaster, on a base of stone which protected the more vulnerable elements from damp. The roofs were usually of thatch with eaves which overhung the permeable walls. Many larger houses were built of stone and plastered. The roofing material for the substantial houses was tile. Houses of the wealthy had mosaic floors.

This town occupies roughly .6 miles of savannah land near the base of the Valley Fall.
