Pothos Plane

Pothos (also known as the Pothos Plane) is a section of Rhizome that is exclusively forbidden unless the operative has exclusive permissions to enter. Some operatives have been known to attempt to reach the Pothos Plane, but it is extremely dangerous to do so for multiple reasons. If the W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. organization discovers that an operative has reached (or has attempted to reach) the Pothos Plane without prior authorization, the individual may be at risk of serious repercussions. In addition to this, the Pothos Plane itself is an experimental section of the Rhizome simulation that is known to have several glitches and errors that could result in injury and damage to those who attempt to reach it.   The Rhizome simulation system is already very risky to enter. It is not advised that an operative remain within Rhizome for more than the time they are allotted. Extended exposure to the Rhizome can cause confusion and other effects on one's brain. The Rhizome technology is so advanced that even a seasoned operative may momentarily forget that they are located within a simulated experience. The environment around the operative within the Rhizome simulation is especially tailored to every occurrence programmed, but it is specifically designed to keep the operative's physical body safe during simulated events. The Pothos Plane is rumored to have less fail-safes. Many sensory inputs, including pain, inflicted within the Pothos Plane will inherently remain more serious to the operative even outside of the simulation, and abrupt transition out of the simulation can cause severe damage to one's brain and body.
